This page is to help our friend Malka Al Haddad avoid removal from the UK, by raising additional funds through the sale of artworks. All proceeds, every single penny, will go towards helping Malka meet the legal costs. As a way of thanking you for your support, I am offering get 10% off each of the works purchased. I quote from the June 2021 letter to Malka's supporters from Colleen Molloy, Communications Manager, City of Sanctuary:
'It is a testament to the impossible position that many asylum seekers are placed in, when I share with you that the cost of legal fees even at this early stage of the process, have taken us well beyond the £6,000 raised and unfortunately we now need another £7000 for Home Office fees, medical reports, country expert report, NHS surcharge and other costs. Malka's life is genuinely at risk and she simply cannot return to her country of origin. Her only hope now is to submit a further claim.'
