George Sfougaras

Illustration, books and collaborative publications

I create visual responses to stories, poems, books and research projects. The work often moves through memory, displacement, place, witness and the meeting point between private experience and shared history.

How I collaborate

I enjoy thoughtful collaboration, especially when a project carries personal, historical or emotional weight. The process works best when we can speak clearly, make practical adjustments where needed, and allow the image and the words to find the right relationship.
